3. Working Principle

The QTS2-25 utilizes high-pressure hydraulic compression molding—a process that creates compressed earth bricks without the need for firing. Clay, cement, and water are mixed thoroughly according to a specific ratio, and the resulting mixture is fed into the main machine’s hopper. The hopper simultaneously fills two mold cavities; slight auxiliary vibration ensures the material fully fills every corner of the cavities. A hydraulic cylinder then applies high pressure (16–25 MPa) to compress the mixture, expelling air from the voids and tightly bonding the raw material particles to form two high-density green bricks in a single cycle. After the pressing and holding phase, the upper mold head retracts and the mold frame moves downward to automatically release the bricks, which are deposited directly onto the ground. This completes one work cycle, and the machine proceeds to the next round of material feeding and pressing. The entire process requires no firing; the bricks gain structural compressive strength through cement hydration during a natural, open-air curing period of 7–14 days.
